Autumn 2018-2019 news letter

Dear Parents & Carers
 
We would like to welcome both existing and new students to the start of the academic year 2018/2019.
 
I would like to congratulate our students who set their GCSE in Arabic Language, we had fantastic results of A* and A, we are very proud of all our students for all their hard work, and I would like to thank all our teaching staff and parents for their support and encouragement to all our students.
 
Sweet Shop
We will be selling sweets, crisps, pizzas, and soft drinks throughout the school day.
 
After school clubs
After school clubs will be starting on 6th October, they will run from 1:30 pm- 2:30 pm.
Arts & Crafts for Children
Tarteel Quran for Children (ages 5 – 10 years)
Tarteel Quran for Boys
Tarteel Quran for Ladies
If you are interested, please register in the morning.
 
Late for classes
Lessons start at 10:30 am, we would appreciate students arriving at school on time, as lateness causes disruptions to lessons.
 
Registration of old students
If your child has not attended school yet, the last date to register will be 13th October 2018.
 
New students
Registration of new students is still available, the last date will be 24th November 2018.
 
Non-attendance / Absence
When students miss more than one lesson it affects their learning, please contact the office if your child is absent, we appreciate your support in this matter.
 
Older students (Pre-GCSE & GCSE level) leaving school during break time
At break time some of our older students in the higher levels would like to leave school premises for their lunch, no students are allowed out of school without their parent’s consent.
It is highly important that parents contact us via email/phone to allow their child to leave school at break time.
Please fill in the consent form that available at the reception desk.
School fees
Thank you to all parents that have paid September fees, for those that still haven’t paid yet please can you clear your outstanding dues.
 
Uniform
Uniform is mandatory for students from Nursery to Year 6, as it represents our school, uniforms are available in school, we would be grateful for your support an encouragement in this matter.
